Component Speakers buying guides
Component speakers split the sound into parts, with a woofer for low notes and a separate tweeter for high notes. Unlike coaxial speakers, the tweeter can be placed higher, so sound reaches you more clearly. The best component speakers need a little more work to install, including a crossover, which sends the right sounds to each part. Plan space for that box.
