Film Cameras buying guides
Film cameras use rolls of film instead of memory cards, so each shot feels slower and more deliberate. Many shooters like the soft, warm look. Check that the camera still works, the light meter reads right and film for it is easy to find. Manual models need no battery for the shutter, while auto ones are simpler for first-timers. Buying used? Ask about light leaks.
We haven't published a Film Cameras guide yet. We only publish a guide once the research behind it is done.
