Full-Frame Cameras buying guides
Full-frame cameras have a sensor the size of a classic 35mm film frame. A larger sensor catches more light, so photos in dim rooms look cleaner and the background blurs more softly. The trade-off is bigger, heavier lenses and bodies. Full-frame makes the most sense if you shoot weddings, events or night scenes. For travel and daylight, a smaller sensor may be enough.
We haven't published a Full-Frame Cameras guide yet. We only publish a guide once the research behind it is done.
