External SSDs buying guides
External SSDs are small, fast drives you plug into a computer by cable. They have no moving parts, so they handle bumps better than an old spinning drive. Speed depends on both the drive and the port you plug it into, so check your computer's port. Pick capacity by how many big photo and video files you keep.
We haven't published a External SSDs guide yet. We only publish a guide once the research behind it is done.
