Ethernet Cables buying guides

Ethernet cables give you a wired internet link that is steadier than Wi-Fi. They come in categories, such as Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6a, and higher ones handle faster speeds and more interference. For most homes, Cat 6 is plenty. Length matters, so measure the path before you buy. A flat cable slips under doors and along walls easily.

We haven't published a Ethernet Cables guide yet. We only publish a guide once the research behind it is done.
