Photo Scanners buying guides
Photo scanners turn old prints, negatives and slides into digital files. Resolution matters most here, because small pictures need many pixels to look sharp when enlarged. Check that it handles negatives and slides if you have them. Color correction and dust removal can repair faded pictures. Some are fast feeders, while flatbeds are gentler on fragile photos.
We haven't published a Photo Scanners guide yet. We only publish a guide once the research behind it is done.
