USB-C Cables buying guides

USB-C cables look the same but do different jobs. Some only charge, while others also move files or send video to a screen. Check the watts it's rated for, since laptops need a cable that can carry more power than a phone does. A short cable is tidy, a long one reaches the couch. Buy from known makers, because poor cables can be slow or unsafe.

We haven't published a USB-C Cables guide yet. We only publish a guide once the research behind it is done.
